In case you missed it. . .

My birthday was last week and like always, I am always looking to do something different with my look with each year of growth.
It's like a type of motivation to keep things fresh ;)

I maintain my bantu-knot out's by doing a pineapple-- bringing all of my hair to the top of my head [near my forehead] and applying a hair band.  With my current cut and the shape that I am now going for, I do two sections, half of my hair goes to the very front of my head near my forehead and the back is slightly lifted and put in a hair band.

FIRST TIME JUICING!

My parents got me a juicer for my birthday I put my Juicer to use for the first time today!  I ended up with a deliciously refreshing drink

I'd say, not bad for my first time juicing.  I definitely need to purchase more veggies next time.  Although it looks like a lot on the cutting board, this bunch of healthy goodness didn't make as much as I'd expected.  I'll write down the actual measurement next time.

ADDING ROOTS TO WIG

Do you remember the RPGShow wig that I recently reviewed?

I love the original cut of the wig so I kept it as is.  The only thing I felt needed to be done was just a slight darkening of the roots.  That's an easy fix, I used a rinse so it isn't permanent.  The results actually aren't as dark as I'd expected so I am going to purchase a darker dye, possibly a semi permanent since I feel like a have the hang of this 'dying of the roots' ordeal.  My goal is to get the roots as close to my natural color as possible, to make it believable. 

Another thing that I needed to work at was making the hair line more realistic.  This problem was solved by simply applying the wig slightly behind my hairline.  I then blended my natural hair line-- Thanks for the suggestions YouTube fam!  I read your comments and take them into consideration.  ;)

To get foxy gal waves, I used my usual oil and water mixture 

to moisten the hair, and did two bantu-knots.

 Placing a satin bonnet over it tomorrow

What you see here is what I'd like to call my 'organized mess' This area holds lots of 

things that I felt to be pretty (mostly books) I've placed them on display and turned 

them into a little shelf.

I assisted Rob with choosing some spring time flowers to plant on his balcony!  

He gifted me with this super cute and ultra bright Hibotan, 

also known as a MoonCactus.

I wasn't sure that this would show up well on my skin, it actually shows up and loops pretty nice.  I'd recommend a product like this for a no make up, day on the beach type of day.

 The brown liner is great, love that the possibilities of the stroke is so versatile
