1 Always wear your smile, lets not ever mix business with pleasure.  The last thing you need is for all of your co workers to constantly ask you whats wrong, because you're wearing your Debbie Downer face.  NO NO and NO, save that for your personal time.

2 I keep my nails short. I personally don't have the time to sit and have a fill done every week.  I love to keep things fun by switching up my nail color every other day.  Call me crazy but a nice {DIY} manicure makes working much better, who wants to look at chipped nails? Not me.  Ladies, just remove the polish if you don't feel like getting your nails done or doing them yourself.  That awkward moment when you've noticed your nails look like crap so you spend all day trying to hide them from the public. . . AWKWARD. And whats worse is if I've caught you trying to hide your nails, it puts me in a bad place LOL. It's fine, we've all done it

Keep in mind, your office dress code

My office is quite laid back/business casual.  Strange enough, I feel over dressed at times but I simply can not walk into an environment looking any kind of way and expect to be taken serious. 3 I like to keep covered and wear at least 2 pieces up top [a blouse and a blazer/vest].  The only time I choose to skip out on the second layer is if my blouse is a statement alone. 

4 As for shoes, a black heel is always good. . . these happen to have spikes!  This is were I've added my flair for the day.  Many people will not notice the spike since I have chosen to wear these wide legged trousers-- Which happen to fit AMAZINGLY BTW ;)
